Rebuild, moves and badges
Quitting leaves a gap where the habit lived. Rebuild is the catalogue of what goes in its place, and the shelf that remembers what you have already built.
The catalogue
Moves with their research named where it exists. Each states why it works, the steps, and the obstacles you will actually meet. The ones without citations say Experiment, plainly. Add what fits, set your own cadence, mark it done when it is.
The shelves are the four needs the habit was faking: Reward, Connection, Meaning and Competence, each arguing its case in one line. A fifth shelf, Spirit, joins when a faith or philosophy pack is on. Filter by shelf, by nerve, or by whether the research is cited.
Every move states two plain facts before you commit: how long it takes and how much nerve it asks. The scale rates the move, never you. Open one for the why, the steps, and the obstacles you will actually meet, with responses for each.
Adding a move asks for a cadence: daily, weekly, monthly, or your own. Daily practices return each day by design; one-time builds stay done. Marking done is a tap, and the footer counts what is done, earned and set aside.
The savings tin
The money the habit is not taking anymore, set aside toward something you name. The tin records what you put in; it never assumes you stayed quit.
Name the thing you are saving toward and its price, then move money in when you choose to. The tin is a record of deliberate transfers, not a projection. The counter's saved figure estimates from your cost per day; the tin holds only what you actually set aside.
A slip never empties it. What you are saving for should never pay for one hard night, so the tin's total survives every restart, the same way your history does.
Badges
Earned by what you do, never by the clock: a pattern found, ten waves ridden, a week of your own data, a slip told fast. Nothing on the shelf is ever taken back, because the learning a badge marks already happened. No points, no levels.
Every badge marks an act of self-knowledge, not a length of abstinence. Your first logged craving, a pattern your log earned, waves ridden in SOS, a slip told within the hour. Time-based trophies are exactly what the app refuses to award, because the clock already has a counter.
The shelf is permanent. A slip takes back nothing, because the learning a badge marks already happened and un-happening is not a thing. Each badge names what it marks and what you did; the not-yet cards say plainly what would earn them.
Telling a slip fast earns one, on purpose: the app rewards honesty at the exact moment shame usually wins.
The community board
Moves submitted by people quitting, reviewed by a person before anything is public, voted on by everyone. Your private feedback never appears here; the board is its own door.
The board holds two kinds of posts: rebuilding moves and feature requests, both travelling the same reviewed door. Every submission is read by a person before it appears; nothing publishes on its own, and a rejected post is never shown to anyone.
A move you like joins your list from its own page, with the author's facts and the catalogue's cadence chip. Community moves live on the board, never in the shared catalogue. Votes rank what people actually found useful, and a vote can be taken back.
Posting and voting carry an anonymous identifier, never your name. Reading sends nothing. Blocking an author hides their posts on your device alone, and your private feedback to us never appears here: the board is its own door.
